Joining felix FAQs
How do I sign up to the unlimited data plan?
Simply download the felix mobile app or continue on our website to sign up. You can choose to switch with an eSIM or physical SIM. Then, all that’s left to do is activate it within the felix mobile app.
Can I bring my number to felix?
You can choose to bring your number over to felix at no extra cost or get a new one. It's easy to do and all done via the felix app.
Does felix offer eSIMs?
Yes, we do! New and existing customers can choose an eSIM on any of our plans, at no extra cost. If you’re new to felix and have a compatible device, simply select eSIM when signing up to felix.
If you’re already a felix customer, simply head to the felix app and under Settings, select Replace or swap your SIM.
Don’t have an eSIM compatible phone? No stress! You can still sign up to felix with a physical SIM, which will be express posted to you on sign up.
Can I sign up with a physical SIM card?
Yes! You can choose either a physical SIM card or an eSIM on sign up. Physical SIMs are express posted and should arrive within 1-3 business days.
Can I cancel any time?
You can cancel your felix plan at any time with no exit fees. Or, if you need a break, you can also pause your plan for up to 119 days, after which time your account will be suspended. Find out more about pausing your account here.
What network is felix on?
felix is powered by the Vodafone 5G/4G network. You can check your coverage here.
What happens if I want to upgrade or downgrade plans?
You can access more data straight away when you upgrade your plan at any time. Downgrades are applied at the start of your next billing cycle. You can upgrade/downgrade plans within the felix app.
How do I apply my referral/promo code?
When you sign up and purchase your SIM online, you’ll be prompted to add a promo or referral code on our website or in the app. Simply add the referral code under ‘Add Promo or Referral Code’. If you’ve signed up with a referral code, you and your referrer’s credit will be applied once you have activated your SIM, not when you sign up. The credit will automatically go towards your next felix purchase.
Terms + Conditions
felix subscriptions (month to month) For personal use by approved customers only. You must supply your own handset in order to sign up to any felix subscription (Subscription). Your Subscription and the inclusions will automatically renew on a calendar monthly basis unless otherwise stated. Subscription excludes Premium Services, 1223, & 1225 directory services, 123 Ask-Us-Anything, International Roaming, content purchases, and standard international calls and text. You must purchase a felix Unlimited International Calls and Text product in order to call or text selected destinations overseas, and/or an International Roaming product if you wish to use data, call or text in selected destinations overseas.
felix 25GB per month plan Minimum monthly spend and total minimum cost is $25 (Fee). Must connect for minimum one month. Recurring monthly subscription Fee charged in advance until you notify that you wish to cancel. All unused data from Your Subscription (25GB) will be added to your data bank at the end of each monthly billing cycle. There is no limit to how much data your data bank can hold. Data is only for use in Australia within the Vodafone Network coverage area. Once included data and data bank allocation is exhausted you can continue to access data at speeds of up to 1.5Mbps. At 1.5Mbps, you can check your socials, browse the web, and stream music but is not suitable for HD video. The actual speeds you reach will continually vary depending on many factors such as device capabilities, location, network congestion, network coverage, and if you are roaming. Data is for use in Australia within the Vodafone network coverage area. Unlimited data speeds is available at speeds of up to 40Mbps until your next billing month. With 40Mbps, you can stream music and high-definition videos, make video calls, browse the internet and use social media. However, downloading and uploading very large files may be slow. Find out what you can do with speeds up to 40Mbps here. The actual speeds you experience will continually vary depending your device capabilities, your location, the network congestion, network coverage, and if you are roaming. Hotspotting or tethering is permitted to personal devices only. This plan must not be used as a modem or as a substitute for home or office internet. Fair Use Policy applies. $10 10GB Data Pack (once off) You may manually add a data pack at $10 for 10GB when required in the felix mobile app. Each 10GB data pack will go into your data bank to be used after your included or bonus data from the current subscription cycle. The cost of 1MB for additional data under the 10GB data pack is $0.098. If your plan is cancelled, you will forfeit any unused data in your data bank.
$5/month Unlimited International Calls and Text Product (month to month) Only available to customers who are connected to any felix subscription (Eligible Subscription). Minimum monthly spend is $5 (Fee). Unlimited International Calls and Text (Product) includes unlimited standard International calls and text from Australia to selected destinations as listed at http://felixmobile.com.au/plan/international-calls-text (excludes premium, video, special and overseas free phone numbers). Included destinations may vary and are subject to change. You cannot make standard international voice calls or send standard texts to destinations outside of the selected destinations as listed above with this Product. Recurring calendar monthly subscription Fee charged in advance until you notify that you wish to cancel. Product expiry and subscription cycle align with your Eligible Subscription. The Fee for your first month will be charged full and it will not be pro-rated when purchased part-way through a monthly subscription cycle. Max one pack per connection per month. Product is only accessible to the connection who has added the Product – it is not shareable. If your Eligible Subscription is cancelled, this Product will also automatically cancel. Fair Use Policy applies.
One Tree Planted – tree planting initiative One tree planted for every month you're with us with any active felix subscription (Eligible Subscription). Active means every month you pay for an Eligible Subscription. Trees are planted by our vendor One Tree Planted, by forecast in advance or retrospectively, but usually within 18 months of each monthly Eligible Subscription, of varying species and in varying locations in Australia and/or around the world. We will provide you with general progress updates periodically. We make no representations or guarantee as to the health and lifespan of any tree planted, including whether any tree reaches maturity. For every month your Eligible Subscription is paused, a tree will not be contributed. If your Eligible Subscription is cancelled, your tree contribution will also cease. Felix Mobile reserves the right to change the environmental model it chooses to invest in, of which tree planting with One Tree Planted is an example. Subject to change. T&Cs apply.
felix wallet – Refer a friend felix customers can share a unique code with friends. When your friend inserts your unique code, signs up to any felix subscription (Eligible Subscription) and activates their felix SIM, you will both receive $35 of felix wallet discounts (Discount). Discount will be applied towards your next felix purchase, such as your next Eligible Subscription renewal. You may share your unique code as many times as you like, but your referring friend must enter this code when signing up to an Eligible Subscription, it cannot be applied retrospectively. You can start referring after activation of your felix SIM. Discount expires when your Eligible Subscription is cancelled. Discount cannot be transferred. Subject to change.
felix 7 Day Happiness Guarantee The 7 Day Happiness Guarantee is available to you if you’re a new felix customer. To make a claim, you can contact us within 7 days of activating your SIM via Live Chat either on the Felix Mobile App or through the website - http://felixmobile.com.au We will refund to you 100% of the first Monthly Subscription Charges including Charges for the Unlimited International Calls and Text product if selected by you, Charges for the International Roaming product if any, taxes if any, and your shipping costs. If a felix promotion has been applied to your Charges or shipping costs, only the actual amount paid by you will be refunded. We will discuss a process to refund all costs that works for you when you contact us. If you purchased your felix SIM Pack in-store, you must provide proof of purchase in form of a clear and legible receipt. Unless you are transferring your number to another provider, your Subscription will be considered finalised on the date we terminate your Subscription. If you are transferring your number to another provider you must do so within 5 business days of making the claim, in which case your phone plan will be finalised once your number has been successfully transferred. If you do not transfer your number within 5 business days after making your claim, we will terminate your Subscription. If you’re buying a new Subscription, the 7 Day Happiness Guarantee only applies to the new Subscription and not to any existing Subscriptions you have – unless, of course, they are less than 7 days young themselves and also eligible. If there are any Discounts on your Account that have been given to you by felix, they won't be refunded, exchanged or redeemable for cash when you claim.
